About Us
Welcome! We are Ginkgo
Sustainable Landscape
The Ginkgo tree is a living fossil and one of the oldest trees known to mankind. We named our company after it because we wanted to be inspired to landscape with longevity in mind; true sustainable design wastes little and anticipates long into the future.
Our team shares inspiration from the Hopland based Solar Living Institute, now known as Eco Terra. It was there that we were inspired by sustainability, permaculture, and techniques that lead to a closed looped system where nutrients travels from the living soil through the plant to the animals to the people and finally back into the soil.
To your home we can bring these same healthy techniques to your landcape via edible and richly colored plants.
